Education Specialist

Jessica R. Rothman is a School Psychologist who is certified to provide psychological testing and evaluations to children and adolescents. She earned her Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in school psychology at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. A nationally accredited program following NASP (National Association of School Psychology) guidelines. Prior to this, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology with a concentration in child development at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.



Ms. Rothman specializes in psychoeducational assessment. She has specialized knowledge in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. She has experience partnering with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community. There are times when youth experience problems related to learning; social relationships; or managing emotions. Ms. Rothman’s goal is to help students, families, educators, and members of the community understand and resolve both long-term, chronic problems and short-term issues that students may face. She is trained to identify learning disorders, attention disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional/behavioral disabilities. Ms. Rothman utilizes a variety of assessments to aid in making appropriate treatment recommendations.
